The Best Antique Shops Near Concord, NC

If you have a fondness for hunting through furniture, collectibles, and one-of-a-kind finds, you already know that the hunt is half the fun. What you may not know is that Concord, North Carolina, and the broader Cabarrus and Rowan County region, is quietly one of the best antiquing destinations in the South. From enormous multi-vendor malls to acres of open-air farmland picking, there is something here for every kind of collector.

At Taylor Glen, our location in the heart of Concord puts all of it within easy reach. Here are six stops worth adding to your list.

Start Your Hunt Here

The Depot at Gibson Mill

If you only make one stop, make it this one. The Depot at Gibson Mill has earned its reputation as the largest antique mall in the South, with more than 620 vendor booths spread across 88,000 square feet of a 124-year-old former textile mill. Shoppers come from across the country to browse everything from vintage farm equipment and salvaged signage to CorningWare, comics, and mid-century furniture. No matter how many times you visit, the inventory is always changing.

Georgie Jane's Antiques and Gifts

For a more curated browsing experience, Georgie Jane's on Warren C. Coleman Boulevard in Concord is a multi-vendor shop specializing in antiques, vintage and retro pieces, jewelry, and gently used clothing. It has the feel of a well-organized treasure hunt rather than an overwhelming warehouse, which makes it a great complement to a day at the Depot.

Marketplace on Main

About ten minutes away in downtown Kannapolis, Marketplace on Main spans 40,000 square feet across two levels of a historic South Main Street building. With more than 200 vendors, you will find local pottery, handmade quilts, vintage barware, estate jewelry, and a healthy collection of racing memorabilia for anyone who appreciates Dale Earnhardt's legacy. It pairs well with a walk through the surrounding West Avenue District.

Cline's Country Antiques

Head out to Mount Pleasant for a completely different kind of picking experience. Cline's Country Antiques has been a destination for more than 30 years, covering acres of North Carolina countryside with antique and collectible furniture, old gas station signs, porcelain advertising tins, architectural salvage, and garden pieces. It is one of the largest antique furniture dealers in the state, and the kind of place where you go without a plan and leave with a truck full.

Salisbury Square Antiques

Downtown Salisbury is worth the drive on its own, and Salisbury Square Antiques at 111 South Main Street is a strong anchor for a day in the city. It is a large multi-vendor shop with a wide mix of furniture, collectibles, estate finds, and decorative pieces, all in a historic downtown setting. Pair it with lunch somewhere along Main Street and make an afternoon of it.

Mauney's 1840 Store

For the most atmospheric stop on this list, head to the Historic Village of Gold Hill in Rowan County. Mauney's 1840 Store occupies a building from the mid-1800s in this restored 19th-century gold-mining village, offering fine antiques, estate items, solid wood furniture, silver jewelry, and handcrafted goods by local artists. The village itself, with its wooden sidewalks and preserved storefronts, is a destination in its own right. Mauney's is open Friday through Sunday.
